Life is precious!

Published by koyyalagunta under Uncategorized Edit This

Life is precious to all. Animals to humans all struggle to survive.  Everybody wants to live a healthy life. Often ‘Health’ is considered as ‘Wealth’. Having good health is priority to all.

Sometimes we may sick and consult the doctor to cure our disease. Doctor usually prescribes some medications. What happen if, instead of curing our sickness these medicines make worse our condition?.

We all know, all the new pharmaceutical drugs are rigorously tested on guinea pigs, rats, rabbits or such small creatures. If the results are according to the scientists’ satisfaction, the drug gets the Government agencies approval for testing on humans.

There come poor, needy and helpless but healthy people. Most of them were lured by promising money, if they undergo testing of medicine. Some of these medicines are dangerous, unproved and sometimes deadly. Due to clinical trials the volunteers may become sick and sometimes die. But if the drug is successful, everyone forgets these people.

For a long time, I am in a dilemma. Shall I take allopathic medicines or go for natural medicines?. I know chemical pharmacy cures any sickness fast, but no one give correct account of side effects. My father who takes aspirin regularly developed gastritis. Antibiotics not only kill harmful germs, but also destroy our immunity power.

Nature has everything. Natural herbs are more effective in curing indigestion, common colds, fever, and even jaundice. Curry leaves has power to control diabetes, coriander is useful in gastritis. Mint takes care of stomach troubles, where as garlic reduce blood pressure and fat content in the body. No testing is required and no side effects.

Be it Ayurveda or Chinese medicine, they use natural herbs to cure diseases. There may be no surgical operations but these natural alternative therapies are more and more gaining acceptance.

So, I am going for alternative medicines next time…..
