Beats of My Heart

To me family relations are a sort of twain that bonds relatives together. All our relatives come together whenever there is family occasion or a festival like celebration. Though we live at distant places, we all are very much eager to meet our near and dear, at least once a while at some place.
Yesterday we have celebrated Sankranti, at festival usually celebrated at the end of crop season. This comes when the sidereal Sun enters in to Capricorn sign in the Zodiac. This festival is like family reunion to all Indians. All our homes filled with relatives and we exchange clothes, sweets, etc.
Maintaining good relations is quiet a cumbersome task these days. Jealousy, misunderstandings, financial troubles sometimes makes the relations sour. Though we can’t live under same roof any more, I wish all relatives meet together when there was an opportunity, regardless of petty rivalries.
Our civilization thrived due to relationships. I wish to maintain my bonds with all my relatives, even if there were some hurdles. I wish we all celebrate next Sankranti as a combined family.
